General Dental Checkups
We can’t state the importance of a regular dental checkup because it helps keep your teeth and gums healthy. Every 6 months or as recommended by your dentist you should have a regular dental visit so a dental professional can look at the overall health of your teeth and discover any potential problems.
Dental implants are the closest you can get to healthy, natural teeth. They allow you to live the way you want to – confidently eating, smiling, laughing, talking, kissing and enjoying all of your everyday activities without worrying about your teeth. Think of dental implants as artificial tooth roots, similar in shape to screws
A dental treatment to restore the integrity and function of teeth missing is what’s known as dental restoration. This damaged repaired could be the resulting from cavities or external trauma as well as to the replacement of such structure supported by dental implants. The process of preparation usually involves cutting the tooth with a rotary dental handpiece and dental burrs to make space for the planned restorative materials and to remove any dental decay or portions of the tooth that are structurally unsound. If permanent restoration cannot be carried out immediately after tooth preparation, temporary restoration may be performed.
The process of tooth whitening lightens the colour of a tooth. Tooth whitening can be achieved by either changing the intrinsic colour or by removing and controlling the formation of extrinsic stains. The chemical degradation of the chromogens within or on the tooth is termed as bleaching.
